

Jo Hutt RVN
Head Nurse at Thetford and Brandon
Jo started working at The Old Golfhouse in October 2006, qualified in 2009 and became head nurse in 2012. She loves all aspects of her job, especially patient care and nurse clinics. Jo lives locally with her fiancée, two young children, a cat called Fizz and two Red Setters, Murphy and Paddy. In her spare time Jo loves being out and about with her family.


Rebecca Walker RVN
Head Nurse at Watton and Attleborough
Rebecca has worked for The Old Golfhouse in Watton since January 2009 when she started as an animal nursing assistant and went on to train to become a registered veterinary nurse. She is now our head nurse for our Watton and Attleborough sites. Rebecca has a keen interest in radiography and exotic medicine and hopes to further her skills in hydrotherapy, working alongside our practice's veterinary physio and Mctimoney animal therapist in the future. Rebecca lives with her husband, two cats named Bruce and Tiggy and their Anery corn snake, Delia.


Fay Bojko RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Fay joined the practice in July 2017 the same year she qualified as a veterinary nurse. Fay has a special interest in performing schedule three surgery, wound management and running diabetic nurse clinics. She enjoys teaching others and at present she is a clinical coach for one of our second year students. Outside of work Fay spends a lot of time in the pool, caring for wild hedgehogs, camping and hiking during the summer months and in the winter she enjoys skiing and snow boarding.


Elizabeth Duff RVN
Liz started at The Old Golfhouse in December 2017 as a Student Veterinary Nurse and has since qualified! In her spare time she teaches ballet at a dance school in Cambridge and is also furthering her education in the arts. Liz has a Jack Russell cross Springer Spaniel called Bailey who is very mischievous.


Kate Hall RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse & Dog Trainer
Kate is a dog trainer, qualified veterinary nurse and also works on reception. She is very passionate about animals and behaviour is one of her greatest interests. She has a certificate in dog training and behaviour and has been running dog and puppy training classes at The Old Golfhouse for several years now. Kate runs a basic puppy socialisation class, then three levels of general obedience training. She also does some parkour training and is hoping to get some equipment to start some fun agility. At home Kate has two cats and eight dogs – one Labrador, one Malamute cross and six Siberian Huskies.


Claire Harvey RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Claire joined The Old Golfhouse in 2013 having previously worked at a local practice for many years. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, but has a particular interest in helping clients to manage chronic and age related illnesses in their pets. Claire lives with her partner, two cats named Greebo and Travis and two Guinea Pigs, Beetle and Bug. Outside of work she enjoys walking, live music and real ale.


Samantha Harvey RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse & Pet Healthcare Counsellor
Sam has been working in general practice since 2007 and joined The Old Golfhouse Group in 2013. She enjoys all aspects of her job but has a keen interest in animal weight management and dog training. She has also attended a course with Royal Canin and has achieved the title of Pet Healthcare Counsellor. In her spare time, Sam enjoys training her dogs in agility and obedience. Sam lives at home with her partner, they share their home with Norman, a Bull Terrier, Mabel a Border Collie and two ginger cats, Kenwyn and Beans.


Emma Newey RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Emma has worked for The Old Golfhouse since January 1997 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in summer 1999. In 2013 she was added to the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) list of veterinary nurses, having passed the ISFM certificate in feline nursing with distinction. Emma currently works at Thetford one day a week and at our Brandon surgery for four days. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and has two cats called Mimi and Kiki.


Jessie Kingsland
Patient Care Assistant
Jessie works as a patient care assistant at the Watton branch, mainly looking after our patients before and after they’ve had their relative treatments. She is starting her training to become a veterinary nurse in September 2019. Jessie lives with a variety of animals, including a Border Collie Cross called Izzie, two cats called Brittany and Twiglet (yes after the crisp), two rabbits called Hercules and Megara, two rats called Snowflake and Digger and some fish.


Ellen Newstead
Student Veterinary Nurse
Ellen started as a receptionist at the Old Golfhouse Veterinary Group as a receptionist, she has since progressed to Student Veterinary Nurse. She loves caring for animals and getting to know the variety of pets and clients that visit us. Ellen has a very fluffy cat called Luna who loves to play and explore.
