Jo started working at The Old Golfhouse in October 2006, qualified in 2009 and became head nurse in 2012. She loves all aspects of her job, especially patient care and nurse clinics.
Jo lives locally with her two young children, two cats called Fizz and Rosie, Paddy a Red Setter and Cheddar the hamster. In her spare time Jo loves being out and about with her family.

Claire Harvey RVN
Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse
Claire joined The Old Golfhouse in 2013 having previously worked at another local practice for 24 years. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, but has a particular interest in helping clients to manage chronic and age related illnesses in their pets.
Claire lives with her partner Nige and cat Barry. Outside of work she enjoys walking, live music and real ale.

Samantha Harvey RVN
Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse
Sam has been working in general practice since 2007 and joined The Old Golfhouse Group in 2011. She enjoys all aspects of her job but has a keen interest in animal weight management and dentistry. Sam won ‘Veterinary Nurse of the Year’ for CVS in 2019.
In her spare time, Sam enjoys training her dogs in agility and trick training. Sam lives at home with her partner, they share their home with Norman, a Bull Terrier, Mabel a Working Sheepdog and two ginger cats, Kenwyn and Beans.

Emma Newey RVN
Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse
Emma has worked for The Old Golfhouse since January 1997. She started as a trainee nurse and qualified as a veterinary nurse in summer 1999.
In 2013 she was added to the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) list of veterinary nurses, having passed the ISFM certificate in feline nursing with distinction.
Emma currently works at our Brandon surgery four days a week where she does a variety of nurse consults.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two grown up children. She has two cats called Mimi and Kiki.

Rebecca Thompson RVN
Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse
Working with animals has always been Rebecca’s calling and initially, becoming a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse was her ultimate goal. However, following completion of a certificate in Feline Nursing through the International Society of Feline Medicine, she now wishes to pursue the Diploma in Feline Behaviour and Welfare. As a feline advocate, her role ensures minimal fear and stress for all our visiting feline patients.
Rebecca owns a mad Springer and two rescue cats. Recently she rehomed a few hens from the charity ‘Fresh Start for Hens’. She is a mum of two humans too!

Elizabeth Duff RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Liz has worked in practice since May 2016 and she gained her Veterinary Nursing degree in October 2019. Liz then went on to compete the Oral Health Care Certificate. She also hold a master’s degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour from the University of Lincoln and has completed the Fear Free Certification program too.
Liz has a Jack Russell cross Springer Spaniel called Bailey who she enjoys spending all of her spare time with.

Hannah Pattinson RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Hannah has been working at The Old Golfhouse Vets since 2018. Clients will usually see her at either the Watton or Attleborough sites, where she often offers nurse clinics which can involve anything from clipping claws to second vaccinations and Healthy Pet Club 6 month checks.
Hannah has a particular interest in feline behaviour and emergency and critical care, which is probably not surprising as she has 1 dog and 6 cats at home!

Rebecca has been with The Old Golfhouse for 13 years. When she started initially as an Animal Nursing Assistant, to go on to then being a student and then qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Rebecca gained work experience with us one day a week for 2 years whilst studying for her diploma in Animal Management. Rebecca very much enjoys all the different aspects of nursing as a whole but has always had a keen eye for radiography.
She lives with her husband Nathan, her 3 year old boy Jacob and two cats, Bruce and Tiggy. In her spare time she loves to go on family days out and get together with family and friends, but mostly swimming and the zoo with her little boy. Rebecca’s personal interests mostly evolve around the world of Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Harry Potter, you name it they love it in their house.

Jessie Kingsland
Student Veterinary Nurse
Jessie is in her final year as a Veterinary Student. She started at The Old Golfhouse in 2018 as a volunteer and has since been training to fulfil her dream of becoming a Veterinary Nurse. Jessie loves all aspects of nursing, from seeing our regular patients and clients for medication reviews, to meeting new clients and patients on their first vaccinations. After qualifying Jessie hopes to further her knowledge in the medical aspects of Veterinary Nursing so she can make sure she looks after your pets the best she can and give them the best care possible.
Outside of work Jessie enjoys reading, baking, binge watching TV series, going out with friends and family, or getting some quality cuddle time with her pets (two rabbits, four cats, a dog, a hamster, a snake and a fish).

Abby Murdoch
Student Veterinary Nurse
Abby joined The Old Golfhouse team in March 2018 as a receptionist in our Brandon branch, in October 2020 she applied to become a Student Veterinary Nurse and was successful.
In January 2021 she started her Veterinary Nursing Diploma at Dick White Academy and is really enjoying the course so far. Abby can’t wait to become a qualified Veterinary Nurse by summer 2023 and continue to help all our clients’ wonderful pets.
At home she has a Labrador called Narla, a cat called Dink and a rabbit called Ping, who she adopted from the practice as a stray. Abby enjoys walking with Narla and her family and is so grateful to live in such a stunning area.

Cameron Rose
Patient Care Assistant
Cameron started working at The Old Golfhouse in January 2021, before this she was living in Greece working with a charity to rescue and provide medical care for stray cats. Cameron studied Animal Welfare and Behaviour, she would like to become a Vet Nurse.
Cameron loves the team that she is part of and all of the amazing pets she gets to meet every day.
